Automating Tasks

If you are a long time FormConnect user and have not paid close attention, you may not be aware of all the automation features we have added to the FormConnect Pro+ app. Our goal has always been to reduce the number of steps it takes to preform a task when filling out a form. Below is a list of 13 different automation functions that we have added over the years.

  • Sync forms between all of your Apple devices (iPad, iPhone and Mac).
  • Share forms with team members and enable syncing between each other.
  • Organize forms into folders.
  • Enter text into the search bar to help locate a form.
  • Place index tabs on the form to help navigate between pages.
  • Configure the form so that data can auto populate certain fields.
  • Automate the exporting of forms with one’s email address or login credentials.
  • Link forms so that one form can update other forms.
  • Open multiple forms simultaneously.
  • View multiple forms via browser tabs.
  • Enter formulas so that a form can sum rows and columns of data.
  • Store text in a clipboard so that it can be copied and pasted onto fields on the form.
  • Create scripts that aggregate multiple tasks and are invoked by placing a custom button on the form.
