People often ask what’s the difference between our three FormConnect apps? There does not appear to be that much difference between them when designing your form. The difference is not so much in the form design task as the filling out of the form. The designing of the form is a one time task whereas the filling out of the form occurs every day. Depending upon your job function, these features may or may not be important to you. Some of the features that I find useful are listed below:
1. Syncing – Do you want to sync your forms to your iPhone, iPad and Mac so that you can view or edit them?
2. Collaboration – Do you want to share your forms with other users so the two of you have access to them?
3. Multi-Tasking – Do you need to have multiple forms open at the same time?
4. Form Linking – Do you need to link two forms together so when you fill out one form, it updates the other form?
5. GPS – Do you need to insert GPS coordinates (latitude and longitude) into a text field on your form?
6. Clipboard – Do you have a need to store paragraphs of text in a clipboard that you can copy and paste it into a multi-line text field?
7. Index Tabs – Do you need to include tabs on your form to make navigating between pages easier when you have large multi-page forms?
8. Field Calculations – Does your form have lots of rows and columns that requires tallying?
9. Annotation – Does your form include images that requires annotating or drawing on the form?
