The iPad is a great tool for managing patient care and evaluating health status (see below). It’s light weight and portability make it an ideal tablet for interacting with patients in their homes. Nurses are finding the encounter more efficient than the paper documentation and are able to email the completed patient forms to their supervisor as soon as their visits are complete.
