FormConnect gives you the flexibility to customize your forms to perfectly suit your needs. One way to do this is by adjusting the height of your form fields.
Why Resize Fields?
- Space Optimization: Reducing the height of fields allows you to fit more information onto your form without making it overly long. This is especially helpful when you have a lot of data points to capture.
How to Resize Fields:
It’s incredibly easy to change the height of your fields in FormConnect:
- Locate the Field: Click on the field you want to resize.
- Hover and Adjust: Place your cursor on the bottom border of the field. Your cursor will change to indicate that you can resize.
- Drag and Drop: Drag the bottom border up or down to increase or decrease the height of the field.
Example 1:
Imagine you’re creating a customer feedback form. You might want to reduce the height of the “Email Address” field to save space and include more questions without making the form feel overwhelming.
Example 2:
See the screenshot below. The Address field needed more space but the other fields surrounding it could get by with less space.
Remember:
You can resize most field types in FormConnect, including text fields, date fields, signature fields, image fields, and more.
