There are certain scenarios (healthcare, legal, government, etc.) when after a form has been filled out, the record needs to be locked permanently so that it can no longer be altered.
We have added a new feature to v1.5.4 called Record Locking to address this requirement. The “lock” 
symbol displays as an icon on the menu bar. When invoked, it will display this symbol next to the record and prevent further changes to it. Once the record has been locked, it cannot be unlocked.
