The iPad is a great tool for collecting data but spreadsheet programs are usually better at analysis. So how do you integrate the two? By exporting your records into a CSV file format. Both Microsoft’s Excel and Apple’s Numbers can open CSV files and display them in column/row format.
Below are the instructions.
- Tap on the share icon. It’s the one with an arrow.
- Check the records that you wish to export.
- Tap on the “Export” button.
- Select the “CSV” file format.
- Choose “Email” or “Dropbox”
- Open the attachment on your PC, Mac or iPad.
