Removing Records Permanently

There are two ways to delete a record. The first way is to select the record and then tap on the trash can icon. The second way is to select one or more records and tap on the Delete button. The former approach is for deleting a single record at a time whereas the latter approach is for deleting multiple records at a time.

Once a record is deleted, it is removed permanently from the database. You might be wondering why someone would want to delete a record? The primary reason is for security. Some organizations are not allowed to store data on their iPads permanently. The FormConnect app is used to collect the data but the records are immediately exported and then deleted.
