A checkbox and a signature field don’t really have a lot in common and serve very different functions but one scenario where they do have something in common is the acknowledgement of a task. In the sample screenshots below, both forms look the same with the exception of the consent fields. The first form uses checkboxes to acknowledge consent and the second form uses the person’s initials. Both forms achieve the same objective of getting the customer’s consent but the form with the checkboxes is a little cleaner and faster to fill out.
