Backing up your data is one of those things that you should be doing every time you charge your iPad or iPhone device. It will give you peace of mind that your data is stored on Apple’s servers and if for some reason you should lose your data, you will have a backup that you can restore from. Below is the setting for backing up to iCloud. Make sure that this setting is turned ON.
Note: Data backed up to iCloud is encrypted and no one other than the owner of this data has access to it.
