Cloning a Record 
is similar to adding a record with one exception. You can replicate certain data so you don’t have to re-enter it. For example, suppose you need to create a new record for an existing customer and have already collected the address. If you specify to copy the field setting for the customer name and address fields, that information will be copied when you add a new record.
