A common question is whether upgrading to a newer version of FormConnect will cause you to lose your forms or database? The answer is No. Upgrading to a newer version should not have any effect on the forms created. Previous versions are backward compatible. However, it’s still recommended that you back up your forms and database on a regular basis as there are several other scenarios beside an upgrade (theft, damage, etc.) that could require a backup recovery if something should go wrong.
There are a couple of ways to backup your forms and database.
1. Backup to Apple’s iCloud.
2. Export to Dropbox.
