There are two ways to hold your iPad when filling out a form. Landscape (horizontal) or portrait (vertical) mode. Each viewing mode has its advantages. When holding the iPad in landscape mode, you can view all the records that you have filled out in the past and navigate to them quickly. When holding the iPad in portrait mode, you can view the entire form without having to scroll to the bottom of the document.
