Each time you fill out a form, a record gets created but how does that record get named? It gets named whenever the primary field on the forms gets filled out. Say the primary field is called Customer Name and you enter “ACME” in that field, the record name will be ACME the next time you review that record.
How did the primary Customer Name become the primary field? When you design a new form, the first field that is created becomes the Primary Field. In this case, Customer Name was the first field created.
How do you change the Primary Field?
1. Tap on the paint brush icon.
2. Tap on the gear icon.
3. Select the primary field option.
4. Change the primary field by dragging it up or down.
