Kiosk mode is a way to configure the FormConnect Pro app so that the menu bar is hidden when the customer fills out the form. To invoke kiosk mode, tap on the kiosk button. You will be prompted to enter a password to enter this mode. Only a Submit, Clear and Kiosk button will appear. When the customer fills out the form and taps on the Submit button, the data will be saved and the screen will clear for the next person to fill out the form.
Kiosk mode is ideally suited for business environments where you have a waiting room for when you want to hand an iPad to a customer/patient and have them fill out a form.
If you add the ability to sync your forms between your iPad devices by upgrading to FormConnect Pro+, then when a customer fills out the form while in kiosk mode on iPad 1, the data will automatically sync to iPad 2 and you can verify that the information was filled out correctly without having to access iPad 1.
