A form’s primarily purpose is to collect information. Data such as name, date, address, city, state, and zip are data gathering field types. A Photo field is another way to gather data.
Below are some screenshots of how a customer has added photo fields to their form to report on the job that they are working on. The first screenshot shows four photos of a development project that they have just completed. Each photo has a date when the photo was taken and a description. The second screenshot shows several photos with annotations describing the problem that needs to be addressed.
Both screenshots demonstrate the purpose of adding photos to your form and how they can be used to help add context to the photo taken and be used for gathering data.
