Many of the forms that our customers fill out require a customer signature as an acknowledgement of work to begin. In most cases, you will hand the customer the iPad and they will sign the form. However, in some circumstances, the customer is not nearby to sign the form, so how would you go about getting their signature?
There are two ways. If they had the FormConnect app installed on their iPad or iPhone, you could email them the form, have them sign it and forward it back to you. If they don’t have the FormConnect app and have an iPad or iPhone, you would export the form in the PDF format and forward it to them via email. They would then use the markup tool on their iPhone or iPad to sign the document and then forward it back to you.
